Meal 1, 6.00am- 4eggs, 2 slices of whole-wheat bread, bowl of porridge oats, banana, protein shake, 2 pints on water taken with BCAA's, Multi-Vitamin, Cod-liver oil and Creatine.
Meal 2, 9.00am- Tuna with 2 slices of whole-wheat bread
Meal 3, 12.00pm- Brown rice with minced meat (Beef) with broccoli
Meal 4, 3.00pm- Brown rice with minced meat (Beef) with broccoli
Meal 5, 6.00pm- What ever my dad makes for dinner!
Meal 6, 10.00pm- Chicken, sweet potato and rice
Meal 7, 11.30- Protein shake and bed!
As you can tell, my biggest meal is in the morning. The reason being is basically because.. As you are asleep for your typical 8 hours your body has nothing left to digest, putting you in a catabolic state (where your muscle is breaking down) SO, First and most important thing to do is to get food and water down as soon as you wake up.
I can understand at 6am this isn’t the easiest thing to do but it has got to be done. Breakfast is also the most important meal of the day, as you need it to wake up and be on your A-game through out the day, being at work, school and even the gym!
I also like to take a cod-liver oil tablet with each meal just to ensure that I am getting good amounts of oil into my diet to keep my skin healthy and my joints nice a lose!
